About Me
My name is Roger Dickey, Jr and I live in Fayetteville, AR (EM26). My amateur radio callsign is KJ4QIS. I received my technician license in November of 2009 after attending my first Hamfest in October of 2009.
This site is a journal of my personal progress and interesting links in ham radio.
I used the Gordon West Technician Class study book and audio CD to help me prepare for taking my first license exam. It worked because I passed the test perfectly on my first try!
I used to live on Amelia Island, FL (EM90) which is why I’ve got the region 4 callsign.
